It's been a while since we've had a new uniform reveal to mull over, and on Tuesday Rice stepped up and provided us some new material to consume.
The Owls undertook a three-year process to evaluate their visual presentation and found that everything except the Old English R needed to go. And now it's all gone.
Behold the new logo, word marks and type face at Rice:
It's not immediately clear if the new rebrand includes new helmets for the football team -- the old could remain undisturbed -- but the Owls will have new jerseys in 2017.
