#ScholarshipAlert: The pizza man and a player's wife deliver the good news (#scholarshipalert)

If the goal in making a surprise scholarship announcement is to keep it, you know, a surprise, the Utah staff has put in some good work in recent days.

On Friday, the Utes ordered a pizza, but the pizza was actually a scholarship

As always, the best parts of these videos are how ecstatic the walk-ons' teammates are for their long-awaited recognition.

Hayes is a senior defensive lineman out of Hauula, Hawaii by way of Ventura College. After two years at the JuCo level, Haynes redshirted in 2017 and then played in one game on special teams last season.

A native of West Point, Utah, Woodward is a junior running back for the Utes. He originally walked on the team back in 2016 and has 15 career appearances, primarily on special teams, including 11 last season. He has two career rushes for six yards.
