Sean McVay vows to return in 2024

For the past several off seasons, the future of one of the NFL's brightest coaches has been up in the air as Sean McVay has pondered walking away from the sideline before he's even turned 40.

The rumors first started after he led the Rams to 12-5 season that culminated in him becoming the youngest coach ever to lead his team to the ultimate title in Super Bowl LVI.

After reaching the pinnacle of the profession, the chatter was he was considering joining the broadcast booth, where there would be a better work-life balance.

The rumors emerged again last year, following a disappointing 5-12 season just a year after that Super Bowl run.

Now, in the midst of a 9-7 season and sitting at 2nd place in the NFC West, McVay has verbally committed that he will be back to lead the Rams in 2024.

Since taking over the Rams in 2017, McVay has racked up a 69-45 record, which is currently tied for second for the second most wins in franchise history.

The promise to return came during the ending of The Coach McVay Show, which you can catch below.
