Over the weekend, Louisiana Tech opened the doors to the Davison Athletics Complex, which will serve as the new home for the football program, complete with a new locker room and weight room for Skip Holtz and his program.
Before welcoming players into the new facility, Holtz welcomed his guys to pull out their phones and share the experience on their respective social media pages.
"It's like a little kid waking up on Christmas Day," Holtz said to describe his players reaction to the updated new space.
"To see the excitement and the energy that they have right now, going through this building, Vernon Butler told me he was going to stay the night tonight. It's really a first class building and you can't thank you enough to the people that made the Davison Athletics Complex a reality."
Reflecting on the old facility, players said that they were really impressed with the details and new graphics throughout the space, and the modern feel. Local media that have been inside the new facility are already calling it a "game changer" from a recruiting standpoint.
