Slippery Rock will play in the Big House this week while wearing some awesome uniforms

I love everything about this.

Just about every kid playing Division II schools Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst grew up dreaming of playing in the Big House, either as a Wolverine or as an opponent. On Saturday, that dream comes true.

The two western Pennsylvania schools will trek to Ann Arbor for the Big House Battle and, in honor of the school's 125th anniversary, Slippery Rock will do so while wearing specially-designed uniforms. Slippery Rock worked with Adidas for more than a year to come up with a design.

Slippery Rock will trade its traditional green uniforms for gray, accompanied by all of Adidas' latest bells and whistles, and underlaid by a green-and-gray undershirts.

"We wanted to find a unique way to show appreciation for our gracious hosts at the University of Michigan," said Rock head coach George Mihalik. "We thought that in order to respect the Wolverines' great rivalry with Michigan State, we wouldn't wear our traditional home green uniforms in their stadium."
