The son of a recently fired NFL head coach provides some important perspective on "Black Monday" (Tampa Bay Bucs)

The NFL world and the coaching profession refer to today - the day following the last regular season games of the year - as "Black Monday."

It's easy to see why it's considered a dark day for many in the coaching profession. A total of six NFL head coaches have lost their jobs today, coupled with the two that made in-season changes mean that the door of opportunity has closed for a number of guys and their staffs, who (along with their staffs and their families) hope to see new doors open soon.

One of the head coaches who lost his job today is Tampa Bay Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter. Dirk's oldest son, Derek, shared a touching message via social media directed at his father after the news broke that provides some important perspective on a day like today.

Check out Derek's message to his dad in the tweet below, and let it serve as a reminder of the families that are intimately involved in the news today, and over the next several months.
