Source: Brown is making a change at defensive coordinator (Tim Weaver)

Source tells FootballScoop that Brown (FCS) defensive coordinator Tim Weaver will not return.

Weaver spent the past six seasons with the program, the past five as the defensive play caller and linebackers coach.

Before joining the staff at Brown, he spent four seasons as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at fellow FCS program Delaware, where he coached one of the most improved units in the country, going from 97th to a top 25 defensive unit in just two years time.

From 2006-12, Weaver was the head coach at Bethany College (D-III - WV), adding the role of athletic director for the school in August of 2008.

While leading the Bison, Weaver and his staff were responsible for recruiting the program's career leaders in passing, rushing, receiving and tackles.

A veteran of the Ivy League, Weaver also previously coached at both Harvard and Columbia, working on the defensive side of the ball and serving as the special teams coordinator for the Crimson's 2001 conference championship team.

Brown finished 3-7 on the year, losing their last four games in a row on the season.
