Aaron Pflugrad, who helmed the offensive controls for five years at Northern Arizona, is making both a cross-country move and a step up in the college football world.
A former AFCA 35 Under 35 recipient, Pflugrad is joining Jonathan Smith’s Michigan State staff, sources told FootballScoop.
Pflugrad, per sources, is slated to become a senior offensive analyst and work closely with the Spartans quarterbacks, per sources. With playing experience at both Oregon and Arizona State, Pflugrad climbed through the coaching ranks with a graduate assistant role working with wideouts at Arizona State across three seasons and then worked eight years at NAU, the final five as offensive play-caller.
Pflugrad has tutored more than a dozen all-conference players and five FCS All-America selections.
