After a 10-1 season where their only loss came from a 3-point loss against Coastal Carolina five games into their season, Billy Napier was once again the source of much speculation for Power 5 jobs.
But after being in the mix for a few big time jobs again this off season, Napier ultimately elected to return to ULL again, and will carry an impressive 28-11 mark into his fourth season with the Ragin' Cajuns.
In early January, heading into their bowl game, the school announced a two-year contract extension aimed at keeping Napier with the school through the end of the 2025 season.
To keep the momentum rolling, sources tell FootballScoop that Napier has made a few quality additions to his staff.
Sources share that Tulane special teams analyst Chris Couch is joining the program as special teams coordinator / director of quality control and analytics. Couch spent the past five seasons with the Green Wave program, where he also worked as recruiting coordinator.
Also, sources tell us that LSU strength and conditioning assistant Conner Neighbors has accepted a similar role with the Ragin' Cajun's program.
Additionally, sources add Colorado State athletic trainer Tony Hill has been hired in the same role at ULL as well.
