Less than 24 hours after losing Beyah Rasool to Billy Napier's Florida Gators program, Scot Loeffler's restocking his Bowling Green coaching staff.
Sources tell FootballScoop that Loeffler and the Falcons are hiring Robert Armand to a full-time assistant coaching position working with defensive backs.
Previously, Armand was a graduate assistant for the Falcons, also working with the secondary.
Most recently, Armand had been hired to coach linebackers for the FCS Maine Bears program; he also had gained valuable experience in the SEC as an defensive quality control coach for two seasons at Vanderbilt.
A Stetson graduate, Armand has spent three years on staff at Bowling Green after an initial year at his alma mater.
The Falcons are coming off an seven-win campaign, including a postseason bowl berth, and are scheduled to open their 2024 season Thursday, Aug. 29, at home against FCS program Fordham before traveling nine days later to face James Franklin's Penn State Nittany Lions.
