Sources: Clint Trickett joining Charles Huff's staff at Marshall

Sources tell FootballScoop Charles Huff has landed Clint Trickett as his receivers coach.

Trickett was also under consideration for a number of other positions we had heard over the past few days including for the tight ends position at Ole Miss.

For Trickett, this is an opportunity to return to his home state, having been born in Morgantown. Clint is the youngest of three sons or legendary football coach Rick and his wonderful wife Tara Trickett.

Trickett played collegiately at both Florida State and West Virginia.

His coaching career began at East Mississippi where he served as quarterbacks coach. He would go on to join Lane Kiffin's staff at FAU as tight ends coach. When Willie Taggart became head coach at FAU, he promoted Trickett to co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

At Marshall, this will be his first time coaching receivers.

With Trickett's hire, we can share the full planned offensive staff for Charles Huff at Marshall.

As always, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest coaching news.
