Fran Brown continues to systematically build his inaugural Syracuse coaching staff after being introduced last week as the Orange's new head coach.
Now, sources tell FootballScoop, Brown is making a pivotal hire along the foundation of his program: offensive line.
Dale Williams, who spent the 2023 season as a senior offensive analyst at Louisville under Jeff Brohm, is expected to take over the coaching duties for the Syracuse offensive line, sources shared with FootballScoop.
Williams had served six seasons as Purdue's offensive line coach under Brohm and then shifted into a senior, off-the-field role for this past season when Brohm made his return home to his alma mater.
In addition to his work there, Williams also has coached at Western Kentucky, West Virginia and Gardner-Webb, among other stops, in a career spanning almost three decades.
Syracuse hired Brown away from the University of Georgia to replace the fired Dino Babers.
