Sources tell FootballScoop Kalen DeBoer plans to make William Inge his new defensive coordinator at Fresno State.
Inge, currently special teams coordinator at Indiana, has experience coaching linebackers (or defensive line) for 5+ seasons at Indiana, at the University of Buffalo, with the Buffalo Bills, at Cincinnati, San Diego State and at Colorado as well.
Along the way, Inge has coached some special players including Khalil Mack, Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Chris Covington, Tegray Scales, Marcus Oliver and more.
Inge played collegiately at Iowa where he served as co-captain his senior year.
In addition to Inge, sources tell FootballScoop Montana Tech head coach Chuck Morrell has stepped down from his post and will also be part of the staff at Fresno State. Morrell previously served as defensive coordinator at both University of South Dakota and at Sioux Falls.
Kalen DeBoer is expected to make these hires, along with a few others, official this week sources tell FootballScoop.
