Before age 25, Ty Hatcher already is uncorking a coaching career with stops at some of college football's grandest programs.
Alabama.
Texas A&M.
Oklahoma.
Now, the 24-year-old Hatcher is set to continue his meteoric ascent with another impressive stop: University of Georgia.
Sources tell FootballScoop that Hatcher is joining the Bulldogs coaching staff of Kirby Smart as an offensive quality control coach.
This move comes after previous stints for Hatcher under Bill O'Brien during O'Brien's season as offensive coordinator under Nick Saban at Alabama, as well as time under Bobby Petrino during Petrino's season calling the offense for Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M.
Most recently, Hatcher is coming off a year on staff at Oklahoma as a graduate assistant coach working with quarterbacks.
Hatcher, the son of Samford coach Chris Hatcher, the program's all-time winningest coach, joins a Georgia offense under the direction of Mike Bobo -- also a former head coach.
After winning the SEC Championship in 2024, Georgia fell to Notre Dame in the quarterfinals of the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff.
The Bulldogs open their 2025 season Aug. 30 at home against Marshall, which will be playing its first game under new head coach Tony Gibson.
