Already an AFCA 35-under-35 honoree, Myles White is making a major career leap, sources tell FootballScoop.
White, most recently the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach for Chuck Martin's Miami (Ohio) squad, White is joining the NFL's Green Bay Packers as an offensive assistant.
White has carved a reputation as one of the top up-and-coming wide receivers coach in the collegiate landscape.
A former collegiate player at Michigan State who transferred and finished his career as an all-conference performer at Louisiana Tech, White actually is making a return to the Packers. He played for the franchise after his collegiate career, part of an NFL career that included stops with Green Bay, both the New York Giants and Jets, as well the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Adding additional pro playing experience in the CFL, White also has coached in the college ranks at both Southern Miss and Stephen F. Austin, prior to his past two-plus years at Miami (Ohio).
