Freddie Banks is expected to be the defensive backs coach on Jake Dickert's new Wake Forest staff, sources told FootballScoop on Friday.
Banks spent the past three seasons as the defensive coordinator at Colorado State, where the Rams led the Mountain West in scoring defense in conference games this past season.
Banks previously spent one season as the defensive coordinator at Montana State.
Prior to that, Banks was a defensive backs coach at Nevada, Stephen F. Austin, Midwestern State (D-II - TX), Nicholls, and Minnesota State-Moorhead.
