Larry Scott has made key hires to his new Howard staff, as sources told FootballScoop on Monday that Lee Hull will be the Bison's offensive coordinator and Troy Douglas the defensive coordinator.
Hull will also coach quarterbacks, sources say, while Douglas will tutor the safeties.
Formerly the head coach at Morgan State, Hull left to become the wide receivers coach for the Indianapolis Colts. He recently completed his first season as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Wagner. Hull has also coached wide receivers at Holy Cross, Oregon State and Maryland.
Douglas has been in coaching more than 30 years, largely at the FBS level, depositing stops at Pittsburgh, Iowa State, North Carolina, South Florida, Indiana, Michigan State, SMU and UTEP.
Scott was hired as Howard's new head coach on Feb. 5. He replaced Ron Prince, who resigned on Dec. 6 after one season amid investigations into allegations of verbal abuse against Howard players.
Howard went 2-10 in 2019.
