Charles Huff is set to part ways with a number of assistants at Marshall.

Legg was the offensive veteran of the group and also held the title of associate head coach. Legg, a West Virginia native, has previous stops at West Virginia, Mississippi State, FIU, and Purdue.
Morrison, a Marshall alumnus who held the assistant head coach title, was in his third stint with the program and previously coached at Eastern Kentucky, Ball State, and Memphis. He was a member of the Marshall 1992 Division I-AA national championship team, as well as runner up teams of 1991 and 1993.
The Thundering Herd offense ranked 103rd nationally in scoring at 22.2 points per game. 105th in rushing, and 65th in passing offense.
