Sources: Missouri hiring former Georgia, Utah State staffer for off-field position (Arkansas State)

Mitch Hardy is returning to SEC country, and Missouri is bolstering its off-the-field staff under Eli Drinkwitz.

Sources tell FootballScoop that Hardy is leaving his post at Utah State, where he had been director of football management, to become the Tigers' assistant director of football operations.

Previously, Hardy worked as in the Southeastern Conference at the University of Georgia as understudy to the well-regarded Neyland Raper.

A former long-snapper at Arkansas State University, Hardy transitioned from a playing career into an off-field role with Anderson and the Red Wolves, beginning at that time his career in football operations.

He logged several seasons at Arkansas State before he shifted to Georgia and then on to Utah State.
