Entering his second year atop the New Mexico State program, Tony Sanchez is making some bold moves to his offensive staff.
Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Sanchez is tabbing veteran offensive play-caller David Yost as the Aggies offensive coordinator.
Additionally, sources tell FootballScoop, John Cannova is expected to join the New Mexico State staff as the program's new offensive line coach.
With previous stops at Missouri, Oregon and Texas Tech at the Power Conference level and additional work at both Utah State and Washington State among other stops, Yost has more than two decades's experience in chief offensive roles.
He's a former Broyles Award semifinalist who most recently ran the offensive show at Florida International.
Cannova spent two seasons on staff at Eastern Illinois as the offensive line coach and running game coordinator.
He also worked with Yost at Texas Tech from 2019-21.
