Southeastern Louisiana is staying in-house for its next offensive coordinator, sources tell FootballScoop, with Greg Stevens exiting his post to take an assistant coaching position at Utah Tech.
Anthony Scelfo is going to be elevated from serving as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator into the offensive play-caller role, sources told FootballScoop.
Scelfo has previous coaching experience at UTSA and Northwestern State.
The former Tulane two-sport athlete, Scelfo is the eldest son of SELA head coach Frank Scelfo.
Stevens had served as the program's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks since 2018, but sources said he was departing to take a spot on Lance Anderson's Tech staff.
Southeastern is seeking to bounce back from an 3-8 2023 campaign while Tech also is similarly looking to rebound after going 2-9 this season.
