Stan Drayton's revamp of Temple football is set to continue with a key addition.
Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Drayton is filling the role of the Owls' vacant running backs coaching spot with Jamel Mutunga, who's most recently been an offensive quality control assistant coach with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.
Mutunga was one of the Colts' two inaugural Tony Dungy Diversity Coaching Fellows for the past year.
Prior to his year in the NFL, Mutunga had been a member of Greg Schiano's Rutgers University staff.
Additionally, Mutunga first garnered notoriety as promising assistant coach at Ivy League powerhouse Princeton.
Drayton and the Owls are slated to open their 2023 season at home against Akron before making a quick trip to Mutunga's former employer -- Schiano's Rutgers Scarlet Knights program.
