Texas A&M promoting from within for secondary coach
Jimbo Fisher is expected to promote Bryant Gross-Armiento to the on-field staff, sources confirmed to FootballScoop on Monday. Matt Zenitz of On3 first reported the news.
Sources tell FootballScoop that Gross-Armiento's title will be secondary coach. He will work alongside TJ Rushing, who returns for a fourth season as A&M's defensive backs coach.
Gross-Armiento played at Wake Forest under former Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko, then went to work in Wake's recruiting department before moving into a support staff role. He also worked as an analyst at Georgia before joining the Aggies' staff.
