Trent Bray is working relentlessly to give Oregon State a staff of coaches with both deep ties and fierce loyalty to the Beavers' program.
After working to secure his offensive coordinator, OSU alum and former UCLA quarterbacks coach Ryan Gunderson to trigger the Beavers offense, Bray and Gunderson now are finalizing the addition of Kyle DeVan as offensive line coach.
You guessed it: DeVan is an Oregon State alum who's had both an NFL career and an impressive climb through the coaching ranks.
DeVan is set to join OSU after spending this past season as Biff Poggi's offensive line coach at Charlotte.
A Rimington Award finalist as Oregon State's center during his playing days, DeVan has both NFL coaching and playing experience; he served on Sean Payton's New Orleans Saints staff.
