Sources: UCLA finds next offensive line coach (Andy Kwon)

A Year 1 through of growing pains is resulting in significant offseason changes for UCLA and coach DeShaun Foster.

That's including a new offensive line coach.

Sources tell FootballScoop that UCLA and Foster are working to finalize a deal with Andy Kwon, a former Georgia Southern offensive lineman who's been on Butch Jones's Arkansas State staff.

Kwon and Jones had previously worked together at Alabama, where Jones was an analyst after being fired from Tennessee and Kwon got his start in coaching as a graduate assistant.

Arkansas State won 7 games during the 2024 regular season and qualified for a second-straight bowl appearance under Jones, who recently was rewarded by the school with a contract extension.

UCLA parted ways with offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy following the Bruins's 5-7 season that did include Big Ten wins against both Nebraska and Iowa as well as a season-ending triumph against Fresno State.
