Sources: USC, Chad Bowden beefing up personnel department with Logan Snead (Les Snead)

Another week, another move to signal USC's ongoing commitment to beefing up its personnel and scouting department.

This addition has college football playing experience and direct ties to the NFL.

Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that USC is hiring Logan Snead to join Chad Bowden's personnel empire and assistant in multiple facets inside coach Lincoln Riley's Trojans program.

The son of Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead, Logan Snead played college football including four years at San Diego.

Per sources, Logan Snead is joining the USC personnel department as a recruiting and NCAA Transfer Portal analyst.

He also will contribute to opponent scouting, as well as evaluations for the Trojans staff on those players who enter the NCAA Portal and emerge as potential USC targets.

It's yet another dashing move for USC, which hired away Bowden from rival Notre Dame last month less than a week after the Fighting Irish, with a roster heavily constructed by Bowden, played for the College Football Playoff Championship.

Since then, Bowden also has added former Notre Dame director of player personnel Zaire Turner, snagged Max Stienecker away from Wisconsin and quickly plucked Dre Brown from a top post at his alma mater, Illinois.
