South Carolina's board of trustees has approved the pay for Will Muschamp's staff for the 2019 campaign.
Much of the pay has already been set. The USC board approved the final pieces on Monday by rubber-stamping extensions for assistant coaches Bobby Bentley, Coleman Hutzler, Mike Peterson and Jeff Dillman; all are now under contract through May 31, 2020, according to The State, but none of the four received raises with their extensions. Bentley and Hutzler are already among the highest-paid at their positions in college football.
McClendon netted the biggest raise in a deal that was announced in December. Muschamp also got a 1-year extension in December, keeping him under contract through the 2024 campaign. He earned $4.8 million in 2018 and is set to make $5.4 million in '24.
Athletics director Ray Tanner also received an extension on Monday, a 2-year deal keeping him in Columbia through 2024, like Muschamp.
