#StanfordSkills video teaches you the coaching points for the pulling guard on their power play (Stanford)

Last year we praised Stanford's new video idea they had come out with and dubbed "Stanford Skills" for pairing viewers with a player to learn the technique that they're taught by the coaching staff.

This year, #StandfordSkills is back, as let you in on the technique behind the pulling guards and their technique in the power play that Stanford has become known for.

"The first thing is that you really want to stay square to the line of scrimmage," Cardinal offensive lineman Joshua Garnett explains. "We teach the skip pull, where the pulling guard keeps his leg behind him to keep him square to the line."

"As I'm going to the line, I want to stay square to the backer and once I get to the hole I want to go inside-out on the backer, that's the key. I want to have my inside shoulder on his outside shoulder, and then we do the double-dip-to-double-under. When you get to the backer you're going to dip, and double under your hands and move him out of the hole."
