Sun Belt shifts schedule around (Arkansas State)

The Sun Belt on Tuesday shifted four games around to account for previously rescheduled games due to the pandemic.

Troy is at the center of the movement after the Trojans had their Oct. 3 game with South Alabama and their Nov. 14 home date with Coastal Carolina postponed. Chip Lindsey's team will now host USA on Dec. 5, host Coastal on Dec. 12 and their game with ULM -- previously scheduled for Dec. 12 -- was pushed back five days to Dec. 17.

ULM and Arkansas State will also play their previously scheduled Nov. 14 game on Dec. 5.

Not mentioned here, Arkansas State has added a non-conference game against Incarnate Word on Dec. 12. The Cardinals, a member of the FCS, were not scheduled to play any games until the Southland Conference begins its spring season in late February, but they'll come out of hibernation to face the Red Wolves.

With nearly a month left in the regular season, the Sun Belt Championship could be set by Saturday. Louisiana-Lafayette clinched its third straight Sun Belt West championship with a win over South Alabama last week, and App State and Coastal will play the de facto East championship game this Saturday in Boone.

App State and ULL met in the first two SBC title games, with App winning both games.
