TCU's magical 13-2 season last year was the kind of year that only those in the football facility could have seen coming.
As incredible as their turnaround under Sonny Dykes was last season, it doesn't take the sting away from their heartbreaking loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 title game, or that 65-7 loss to Georgia on the biggest stage in college football.
How does a team bounce back from that kind of disappointment is something that Sonny Dykes and his staff have surely spent every day since formulating a plan for and attacking every day since then alongside their kids.
Yesterday, one of those well-thought out plans came to light when TCU's off season shirts started to circulate on social media.
The front of the shirt reads: "OUR SEASON IS MY RESPONSIBILITY"
...and the message on the back is just as good: "EVERY DECISION I MAKE HAS A DIRECT IMPACT ON MY ENTIRE TEAM."
You can bet these are going to be copied by high schools and other college staffs looking for similar reminders.
