Josh Heupel continues to build out his support staff with strong additions.
The latest comes today, according to a report from Matt Zenitz, as veteran defensive assistant Cory Robinson is expected to join the Vols staff as an analyst.
Robinson spent the past three seasons on staff with the New Orleans Saints as their assistant defensive backs coach.
Before heading to the NFL, Robinson held pass game coordinator titles on the defensive side of the ball in the Big Ten at Rutgers (2018) and Maryland (2019).
He also previously coached the corners for one season each at Toledo and Temple and served as the head coach at the high school level in Maryland at both Calvert Hall and St. Frances, both located in Baltimore.
His three seasons in New Orleans have been his longest stop since leading Calvert Hall from 2009-13.
He spent just one season each at St. Frances, Toledo, Temple, Rutgers and Maryland.
