Sources tell FootballScoop that Eron Hodges is heading to Texas Tech as director of recruiting.
Pete Thamel reported earlier tonight that Hodges was close to finalizing a deal with the Red Raiders.
Sources share with FootballScoop that it is a done deal.
Hodges previously served as the director of player personnel at Purdue. In West Lafayette he led a recruiting effort that saw the Boilermakers land two of the top recruiting classes in school history.
Hodges and Purdue parted ways back in early January.
Before leading Purdue's recruiting, Hodges was the right hand man of Mark Pantoni at Ohio State as the assistant director of player personnel while Urban Meyer was the head coach of the Buckeyes.
