It's a FootballScoop winter tradition stretching back all the way to 2014, well before the early signing day in December was instituted, when the announcements coming out during signing day were strictly graphics.
Fast forward to the last few years and those announcements have evolved significantly. Over the years, teams have got more and more creative with their signing day announcements that now include custom videos, cartoons, and other unique approaches.
This year, one program even rolled out a custom hologram's for recruits.
Today, our tradition continues with a look at the top signing day graphics and announcements from the early National Signing Day for the 2021 class.
Among the criteria we look for when evaluating these annually are; creativity, uniqueness, how the announcement fits into the school’s overall brand, and an overall clean look.
Some programs have shown a penchant for appearing on this list every time we do it, schools like Oregon, Oklahoma, North Texas, Oklahoma State, and a host of others. This year, there are also some relative newcomers bursting onto the scene as well.
Here are the top choices for the early #NSD21. If you feel like there is one out there deserving of making the list, send it to Tweets by CoachSamz" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">@CoachSamz on Twitter or email it to Doug@footballscoop.com.
Props to each of their creative and recruiting departments.
