There is a new home for the title of largest video board in college football (Facility)

Back in March Oregon announced plans to make some stadium updates that included a giant new video board. The original plan was for the updates to be done by August, but the COVID pandemic threw a wrench into those plans and the Ducks just put the finishing touches on it and shared a video of the new stadium feature.

The new video feature will take the title away from Auburn for the largest video board in college football, measuring 186' x 66'. Back in 2015, Auburn made a huge upgrade at Jordan Hare with the addition of a new video board measuring 190' x 57' which absolutely dwarfed their previous one. That was the largest in college football

Oregon's new video board edges out Auburn's in total square footage by nearly 1,500 square feet.

One unique feature about the board going up in Eugene is that it will have a smaller screen (47' x 26') on the backside of it facing outside the stadium to communicate and entertain fans.

Among the $12 million updates around the stadium included with the new giant video board is the removal of the small northeast video board and the installation of a new sound system to replace the previous one that was nearly 20 years old.
