The top 20 (or so) open jobs in college football: pre-spring ball edition

Signing day is well behind us now, which means spring ball will be here before you know it. A number of schools are already on the field and, heck, Duke may even be done by now. I'm pretty sure Cutcliffe had those guys in spring ball on Jan. 2.

Anyway, with the coaching carousel (not the coaching tornado, mind you) still in full swing, here's a look at the top 20-ish open jobs in college football:

- Arkansas: Running backs

- Bowling Green: One defensive assistant

- Central Michigan: Defensive coordinator, offensive line, one defensive position

- Florida Atlantic: Running backs

FIU: Two offensive positions

- Illinois: One offensive position

- Louisiana-Lafayette: Defensive coordinator, defensive line

Massachusetts: Running backs

- Miami: Defensive line

- Miami (Ohio): Running backs

Nebraska: Defensive backs

North Carolina: Defensive line

- Notre Dame: Running backs

- Oklahoma: Defensive line

- Oklahoma State: Offensive line, one other position

- Purdue: Wide receivers

-South Florida: Running backs

- UCLA: Defensive coordinator, outside linebackers

- Wisconsin: Running backs

There are a number of open jobs left open beyond this list at the FBS level, this is just a peek at some of the top jobs currently available as things sit today.
