Les Miles offered a positive update on his COVID-19 diagnosis, speaking to the Jayhawk faithful from his home on Sunday night.
"I am quarantined in my house -- and my house is pretty good, so I'm very thankful for that.
"Our football team is in good hands. I'm still able to get to Zoom meetings as we prepare our West Virginia game plan. I can't wait to get back to our players and our coaches as soon as it is safe to do so."
Kansas announced Miles's diagnosis on Friday, Oct. 8. Assuming that was the same day he first tested positive, Saturday's West Virginia game would fall within the CDC's recommended 10-day isolation period for all positive diagnoses.
Kansas was off Saturday. The Jayhawks are 0-3 on the season and 0-2 in Big 12 play heading into their trip to Morgantown.
