Urban Meyer explains how they prepare players for life after football with "Real Life Wednesdays"

"Real Life Wednesdays is basically a 12-14 week course where we develop our players for when the cheering stops."

Over the span of the 12-14 week course, Urban and his staff bring in Buckeye alums like ESPN analyst Robert Smith, Vice President / Athletic Director Gene Smith, and numerous other high profile people in the business, finance, marketing, retail and insurance world that have found success well after the final whistle blows.

"There was a day back when we were younger - when I was younger - that when you got a degree, you got a job... Those days are gone."

"It's our obligation to get our players out in front."

Most colleges, especially at the FBS level, do something like this for the sake of their players, but credit Ohio State for putting together a high quality look behind the scenes that all programs can learn something from.
