Urban Meyer tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus)

Fox's Big Noon Kickoff pregame show was off the air last week as the entire crew was in quarantine, though the network never disclosed the source of said quarantine.

Turns out, it was Urban Meyer.

Meyer confirmed he tested positive for the virus in an interview with the CBS affiliate in Columbus.

“I’ve just recently gotten over it," he said. "I was relatively symptom-free, I tested positive and that’s why we couldn’t do Big Noon Kickoff last week. The good news is none of my partners and teammates had it, and we’re going to be back at it this weekend.”

The show was slated for a "road" trip last week, leaving its Los Angeles studio to broadcast from the LA Coliseum for the Arizona State-USC game, the first time a Pac-12 game aired in the Big Noon Saturday window. Charissa Thompson, Emmanuel Acho, Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long pinch-hit for the A team.

It's good to hear Meyer is healthy and will be back on the air Saturday morning.

In the meantime, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
