USF has revealed plans for a $40 million football facility spanning 160,000 square feet, expanding upon the current Morsani Football Practice Complex footprint.
The new facility will be home to a new 100-yard indoor turf field, a new 10,000 square foot locker room for the team, a players lounge and patio, 12,563 square foot strength and conditioning center, new offices for coaches and other football personnel, and more than 12,000 square feet of position and team meeting space.
AD Mark Harlan shared the following on the improvements via the school's release:
"The USF Football Center will be a profound and transformational step forward in providing a world-class student-athlete experience across all of our varsity sports programs. Every student-athlete at USF will feel a positive impact with the addition of more than 160,000-square feet of state-of-the-art space dedicated to student-athlete excellence, the addition of which will enhance in many exciting ways our ability to recruit and prepare the best and brightest for the future."
