Utah Utes make several staff promotions (Salt Lake City)

The University of Utah football program announced that it had promoted Mike Corbett to associate director of football operations Wednesday, one of several moves in Kyle Whittingham's program.

In addition to Corbett's elevated role, Utah also announced that Gianna Colosimo was tabbed assistant director of football operations, Hannah Bettis was promoted to the director's role for the Utes' football creative arm and Dylan Smith now is the assistant director for football brand design.

Posting consistent success throughout the past eight full seasons, with 75 wins, a pair of Rose Bowl berths and accompanying Pac-12 titles, Utah has continued to invest in roles beyond its on-field coaching staff to assist the football program.

Corbett has been on staff 13 years, and he's heralded for being "an integral part of the Utes, touching all facets of the program from travel, recruiting and facilities the past 13 seasons."

Emblematic of the staff continuity that has helped Whittingham carry the Utes to new heights, Colosimo is preparing for her 10th season on staff. In recent years she's helped with both community service programs and the onset of Utah's Name, Image and Likeness endeavors.

Previously working with Kansas football, Bettis is now preparing for her fifth season in Salt Lake City while Smith has been Utah football's graphic designer since 2021.
