One quick look at a Terps practice led by first-year head coach DJ Durkin and his staff, and it's clear that a new energy has been brought to Maryland.
Durkin's energy on the field is infectious and he coaches with a passion for the game that is through the roof.
In the video he talks about some of the new core values of the Terps program under his leadership, and you can't help but get excited watching him coach guys up.
"One of our core values here in our program is, we say 'control the controllables', which is your attitude, your effort and your enthusiasm. When you wake up in the morning, you are in control of those three things, and those three things really, often dictate how your day is going to go, how your team is going to go, how your practice is going to go, whatever it is."
"We're going to do things a certain way. We're going to do things the blue collar way where we're going to go hard and play tough. We're going to keep pushing for that like crazy, and our guys are looking forward to that challenge." Durkin notes to end the clip.
