For the past several months, IMG Academy has been the subject of various media headlines for a variety of reasons ranging from the President of the Texas HS Coaches Association vocally opposing pretty much everything the Academy stands for, to Butch Jones and his staff offering scholarships to 20 IMG players, and most recently, Jim Harbaugh taking Michigan down to Bradenton for four spring practices.

Whatever way you choose to look at it, IMG is a hot topic for college and high school coaches around the country. You either love what they’re doing, or you’re staunchly opposed. There is no middle ground.

This video, released by Bleacher Report back in November of 2015, provides an in-depth look inside the IMG program. The names of the players may have changed since the release of the video (like quarterback Shea Patterson, who enrolled early at Ole Miss), but the clip dives deep into the make up of the coaching staff, the facilities, and a lot of other details as to why IMG has become a lighting rod for controversy among high school coaches, especially those among the football community.
