It's widely considered by offensive coaches the best play in football. Victory formation and simply take a knee.
All you have to do is take a get that knee to the ground and the clock keeps running and the game is over.
That's the situation that Conway HS (SC) was in during a visit to Aynor HS (SC). Conway entered the game 1-3 while Aynor was 3-1 and averaging about 45 points per game.
Holding onto a slim lead with .2 seconds left, all Conaway needed to do was take a knee.
However, that's not what happened.
The Conway quarterback took the snap, backed up a bit - seemingly thinking the game was over when the clock expired - and then looked to toss the ball to the official.
An Aynor defender was there to knock the ball away, and scoop it and score it to end the game in an unbelievable fashion.
See what transpired on that last play to give Aynor HS the win in the clip.
