It is an undeniable fact that Lane Kiffin is one of the best offensive play callers in all of football right now.
However, the way that his coaching career began has a really funny story behind it, as Stadium lays out in a video released today with David Carr sharing the tale.
Kiffin was a fifth-year senior quarterback at Fresno State, and his roommate David Carr started to gradually take Kiffin’s reps during practice until he was eventually running with the first team.
Well that went over in about the most Lane Kiffin way as possible.
See the video from Stadium and hear from Carr how that situation came to a head and then played out and ended with Lane with a whistle around his neck.
David Carr tells the story of how Lane Kiffin's coaching career began in the most @Lane_Kiffin way possible.
