Video: Inside Arizona's new $16.5 million indoor facility (indoor practice facility)

A project for Arizona football that has been in the works for a while now, and that has been talked about for even longer, finally wrapped up recently and two days ago spring practices were able to help open up the new Cole and Jeannie Davis Sports Center.

The new $16.5 million indoor training facility features 90-yards of playing surface and like many other indoor facilities in college football and around the NFL, it also features large garage doors that open directly out onto the outdoor fields. The space is also climate controlled to keep temperatures in it from the low-to-mid 70's, which has to feel amazing in that Arizona heat.

As recently as 2016, without an indoor facility, the team was forced to move practices to Tempe, where they practiced at the Cardinals facility. This solves that issue.

This will be a nice new selling point to have in the recruiting pitch for Sumlin and his staff. The first video provides an aerial tour of the outside, and the second one provides a better look at the inside of the new digs.
