Some major facility renovations are underway in East Lansing for Mel Tucker's program at Michigan State.
The Tom Izzo Football Building will span 65,000 square feet, and is set to cost about $78 million.
Impressive features aiming to deliver a new "wow" factor in East Lansing include a large, unique angled video board upon entry, a gear lab with their different uniform combinations and an interactive QR code that will allow a screenshot to go to the user's phone of their favorite combination, electrified glass providing another interactive experience for visitors that will allow them to "virtually suit up," as well as a host of other creative things.
Recently, the program provided a tour of the construction happening on campus, and pieced it together with renderings of what the final product will look like.
