Video: Nebraska uses rich sellout tradition to usher in Mike Riley era (Nebraska)

Over the course of the past 53 years, there have been 25,696,147 seats at Nebraska football games that have been filled by the loyal Husker nation. Those 25 million (and change) seats are what you get when you add up the 53 straight years of sellout crowds at Memorial Stadium.

It's truly a tradition unlike any other in college football.

Nebraska's ability to sell out games is a tradition that has outlasted freezing temperatures, terrible weather, and HD televisions and stretches back to the days of our grandparents, or great grandparents.

This one was made with fans in mind, as season tickets for the first season of the Mike Riley era went on sale yesterday, but something tells me recruits are going to enjoy this walk down memory lane as well.

Mark this one down as the best season ticket commercial currently out there. Well done Nebraska.
