New Mexico opened spring ball on Wednesday, Bob Davie’s fourth in Albuquerque. The Lobos are looking to rebound from a 4-8 campaign in 2014 while installing a new defensive scheme.

“I talked about working, working to bring big-time college football to Albuquerque, I think we have a couple steps to go,” Davie said. “Whatever I can do to light this flame going for Lobo football, I’m going to do.”
