The Lane Train makes yet another stop in what has been an eventful career. At age 44, Kiffin is now a head coach in the SEC for a second time, this after also serving as a head coach in the NFL, the Pac-12 and Conference USA, depositing a 3-year stint as the offensive coordinator at Alabama, and calling plays for the legendary Matt Leinart/Reggie Bush USC team in 2005.
He inherits a program that is 9-15 over the past two seasons, and the road only gets steeper in 2020. Among Kiffin's first seven games in Oxford, Ole Miss will play No. 7 Baylor, No. 11 Auburn, No. 2 LSU, No. 12 Alabama and No. 9 Florida.
