Video: Penn State coaches sell the program's rich tradition to recruits (video)

Penn State's tradition is so rich in quality football, and iconic players that it really doesn't need to be revisited with the audience reading this.

However, for 16, 17, and 18 year old kids, Penn State's more than 800 wins in over 125 years, 45 bowl appearances, and nearly 100 first team All Americans may not come to mind right away. For that reason, Penn State has produced this video, to remind their recruits of the storied tradition in Happy Valley.

Coaches and players both weigh in on what makes Penn State a special place, well beyond the athletic accomplishments, hitting on the storied academic success of the school and the bond with alums and the community as well.

As defensive line coach (and noted locker room spark plug) Sean Spencer says around the fifty second mark, "I get chills every time I walk into this building, knowing the history of Penn State and knowing the great players that have come through this building."

Recruits will like this one, but their parents will probably like it even more.

"It's hard to not, at least consider Penn State with everything that we have to offer," co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Brent Pry boasts near the end of the clip.
